I have had major surgery on both of my feet in the past. The ONLY brand of shoe that I can wear, without pain in my feet is SAS.
They are so well made and so comfortable and I would recommend them to everyone...even if you don't have bad feet.
My grandaughter is a food server and is on her feet for double shifts 2 or 3 times a week. Even though she is in her 20's SAS is the only brand of shoe she can wear thru a double shift without her feet hurting.
It’s very hard to get narrow shoes! My old (7 years?) sas are beyond repair but I can’t find any locally.

I ordered my normal size in a wide. The wide is nice and roomy, which is great for me because I need to take out the SAS cushion and replace it with a cushion of my own that isn't as thick and add my full length orthotic arch support insole. Plenty of room inside the shoe and VERY COMFORTABLE. If you don't require an orthotic, you will probably be very satisfied with the SAS cushion. It took about two days to break the shoes in. They are 100% quality and very nice leather. I am so relieved to finally find a perfect shoe for everyday casual wear.
Wore them through very severe rainstorm. They came out, looking beautiful and kept me perfectly dry.
They are nice, comfortable shoes and seem to be well-made. The fit is a little looser than I expected (I ordered narrow and expected them to be feel snug. but them seem a little loose around the heel). The shoes seem to untie easily and I'm wondering how well the plastic pieces that the shoestrings fit through will hold up. Because they are so pricey I will likely consider other brands for future purchases.
