A simple design and handcrafted features make this a unique walking shoe. A premium leather upper, soft lining, padded tongue and removable footbed make this one of the womens leather walking shoes. Laces slide easily for even tension across the instep.
Heel Height: 1.125". This item features a removable footbed.
Designed to fit and follow the shape of your foot. The genuine moccasin construction wraps soft, supple leather completely around your foot. SAS Tripad® Technology gives long-lasting, all day comfort. Initial fit should be wide enough to stay comfortable across the ball of the foot yet roomy enough in the front so the toes are not cramped.
SAS CoolStep™ Footbed: Our CoolStep™ removable footbed is designed to keep your foot dry and comfortable all day long. The anti-friction top cover inhibits heat providing a cooler surface underfoot. The bottom layer wicks away moisture while cushioning each step. SAS CoolStep™ footbeds are antibacterial and washable for a healthy foot environment.
TRIPAD® Technology: Comfort system that provides shock-absorption and support to the three main pressure points of the foot: inside ball, outside ball and heel.
SAS Foot-Shape® Last: This special last follows the natural shape of your foot, providing all-day comfort while giving plenty of room for your toes.
EZ Lace™ System: Loosen the top lace until there is about two inches of lace left on each end, allowing the foot to slip in easily. Once the foot is in, the EZ Lace™ slides through the rings so easily you have to be careful not to lace too tightly.

Staying True to Our Mission
Most comfortable shoe. I have worn the Traveler for a long time and use every color that SAS carries. I wear an 11N, a size that is difficult to find and my orthotic fits comfortably.
I’m a 74 year old narrow-footed slim woman traveling now through the Riviera, Provence and Milan. I praise the shoes for their trim urban look, but on the cobblestone streets in the South of France they really fall short on comfort. I feel every stone as if I were wearing bedroom slippers. I purchased these online and did not give them a test run until already abroad. I would like them to bounce more like sneakers while still retaining their dress-shoe look. I usually wear SAS in a 9N. For me, the traveler shoe is best in 9-1/2N to accommodate thin black socks.
I had to return the shoes because they were too narrow. I've worn SAS shoes for years and thought I would try a different style. Still love SAS shoes.
My 12N SAS look like boats -my big ole’ feet! But, my goodness it is so wonderful to be able to get the size I need and the comfort my tender, walked on for 72 years deserve! Ready to get a winter pair.
