My podiatrist set me up with a pair of these a number of years ago. In later years I moved on to different shoes which rubbed in some place or another and were not comfortable. Put the shoes on I had originally gotten from the podiatrist and found they fit but were a bit tight and short and were well worn.
Thought I would get another pair from the podiatrist but they were no longer being promoted by the company that carried the shoes for him -- they were deemed too expensive. So I went out looking for the same shoe, hoping they were still being made. Found them at the SAS site and they were expensive, but put them in my cart, and went looking for them elsewhere in hopes I could get them at a lesser cost. Did not find any, but Shopify sent me a message with a note that I could get the ones in my cart from SASnola for $35 less. I immediately ordered them.
Upon arrival I tried them on and they are a snug fit, but again in no place do my feet or toes rub. I figure they will stretch over time and get to be an even better fit and more comfortable.
My only complaint was I have yet to figure out how to have Medicare and my insurance pay for them as they are Medicare approved.
