Designed to fit and follow the shape of your foot and made on an exclusive SAS Walking Shoe Last. SAS Tripad® Comfort Cushions give all-day comfort. Initial fit should be wide enough to stay very comfortable across the ball of the foot yet roomy enough in the front so the toes are not cramped. The heel should be snug and should not slip while walking.
SAS CoolStep™ Footbed: Our CoolStep™ removable footbed is designed to keep your foot dry and comfortable all day long. The anti-friction top cover inhibits heat providing a cooler surface underfoot. The bottom layer wicks away moisture while cushioning each step. SAS CoolStep™ footbeds are antibacterial and washable for a healthy foot environment.
SAS Odor-Resistant Tripad® Cushions: Our odor-resistant Tripad® material cushions the three pressure points of your foot: the inside ball, the outside ball, and the heel. This material maintains its shock-absorbing capacity.
EZ Lace™ System: Slides through the rings so easily you have to be careful not to lace it too tight. EZ Lace™ allows for even adjustment across the instep.
SAS Tongue Holder: The comfortable padded tongue has an elastic gore stitched to the lining so that the tongue will stay of place.
I was going on a trip and brought my new shoes having never even tried them on because I knew the quality was so good that they would be comfortable.
Ordered shoes 1/2 size larger than usual. They are too big.
Don’t know how to correct.
This is the best shoe I have ever worn. My left leg is partially paralyzed and my first SAS shoes supported my foot and a leg brace. Now I walk 3-5 miles a day without a brace or a cane. At 75 I walk more miles than I could 20 years ago. I always buy free times.
I have been wearing SAS shoes for over 30 years and have purchased many different styles and only had one pair that didn’t fit right. I love these shoes. I recently purchased a pair of Free Time which suit me fine due to my age and lifestyle.
I was delighted several years ago when I found these SAS shoes that I could wear without orthotics. They were comfortable for everything, including walking on the sidewalk. I wore them more than any other shoe.
I got two new pairs, and am very disappoint to find that they are no longer comfortable. They don’t cushion my feet or support my ankles as they had. I have had to put my orthotics in them to wear them, as with any other shoe.
This isn’t a problem with my feet changing, as I wore the old ones comfortably from the moment I first put them on, until I received the new ones.
I can’t figure out what’s changed, but they just aren’t the same shoe as the pair I’d had.
