Tips for Measuring and Fitting

- Remember, when we go up in size, the width will also increase.
- All styles fit differently.

- Many customers may require doctor recommended orthotics. Inserts may require added depth in the shoe and make it fit differently, so try to account for this adjustment.

SAS Quality

Started in 1976 with just 13 shoemakers in San Antonio, Texas. Today SAS Shoes are available across the globe.

While Our numbers have grown, our mission has not. Our customer’s comfort comes first, and together we make that comfort possible.

Handcrafted Quality

Just one pair of shoes may go through 100 different steps before completion. No corners are cut when manufacturing SAS Shoes.

Approximately 80 different skilled pairs of hands touch each shoe to make sure the SAS shoes you choose are the best made pair of footwear in your closet.

Continued Heritage

SAS Shoes are still manufactured in Texas, just as they were 40+ years ago. Our shoes are handcrafted from only the softest, highest quality leather.

There are 14 primary operations that take place in the Texas factories like leather selection, die-making, cutting, lasting and more. Each pair is made from the finest global materials available.

My dad loves these shoes

I'm now walking on my fourth pair of SAS VTO shoes. Bone, black and brown constitute all the wardrobe necessary! Inserted into each pair are Aetrex arch supports, which help significantly and provide added comfort. As a 77 year old with bunion and hammer toe issues, these shoes are a godsend! Without them, how would I walk my wonderful & beloved dog?

Good Fit, Bad Velcro

These shoes are very comfortable on my extremely wide feet, as comfortable as any shoe I remember wearing. Unfortunately, the Velcro fastenings do not hold, especially on the right shoe (where my foot is slightly wider). I can take barely 10 or 20 steps before the fastenings come loose. Because this is such a comfortable shoe, I'd really like to recommend it, but due to this defect, I don't think I can in good conscience do so.

I had to send back my first pair, they were to tight I got a new pair wider no question asked
