The color and stylish look caught my eye

I waited eagerly for this shoe to arrive. I removed the insole, slipped in the orthotic made for me, and wore the shoes indoors for one day. SAS Sporty Lux is so good-looking, I wanted this pair to work well for me. Sadly, I need to return the clean, unused pair. Surgery to repair a crushed ankle years ago healed in a way which makes shoe-shopping challenging. The lacing and tongue of the Sporty Lux came up too high for me, causing discomfort even when I experimented with a different lacing pattern to relieve the pressure on the navicular bone. This issue is specific to me, not common with most people. I highly recommend this shoe for them.

So Far, So Good

This is my 4th pair of SAS shoes; I also have Tour Mesh and two colors of Embark sandals.
Love that I can get my size (AAA) in active footwear; it's not easy to do. I've lost a lot of toe nails over the years, from athletic shoes that didn't come in my size.

The Sporty Lux is lightweight, and comfortable out of the box. The fit is true to size, snug but not tight -- and no foot slippage inside the shoe. The style is sleek (especially in the smoke/gravity color), a nice change from standard "sneakers" look.

Note the smoke/gravity looks a bit more dark gray and not so black, compared to the photos (as seen on my PC screen).

I can't (yet) speak to longevity as I just got them. The price is much more than other similar shoes on the market, but again, the others aren't my true size and I decided extra money might be worth keeping my toe nails in tact!
