Uppers are made of genuine leather and breathable mesh in various eye-catching combinations. Hi Country-X features a removable CoolSTEP™ footbed, shock-absorbing EVA mid-sole and flexible gripped rubber sole for stability and comfort with each step.

Great Hiking boots made in USA!

I looked high and low for hiking boots made in USA.

These were the only ones that I found that fit the bill.

I ordered 39 regular width.

Love them!!! I had to waterproof them before using them. They turned out great!! Great traction. Very comfortable with different thickness of socks. Thin wool dress socks and then another time light weight ski socks. Both times very comfortable. I didn’t have any problems hiking with them right away.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
