I've been wearing SAS sandals for about 25 years. I have nerve damage as a result of being exposed to Agent Orange. This is the only footwear that allows for me to br comfortable. The fact that they come in double wide is a huge contributing factor as well. I wear them all year long with wool socks in the Winter.

GREAT shoes. Very well made, no crazy thickness, lifts or modifications. Just a good old shoe. Love the new modern design and colors. Will be buying again!
However with a closet full of SAS shoes this pair did not feel as good and I will be sending them back. I gave five stars for they were certainly well made and looked very nice but just did not feel comfortable on my feet.

I bought my first pair of these sandals in 2007 and have worn them a lot through the years. Although the leather still looks great, the foot pad had gotten a little rough, so I purchased a new pair. Although I normally do not spend this much money on sandals, I had such great luck with the original pair and I'm hoping the new pair will last just as long. Both pairs have been very comfortable from the first time I wore them, so I congratulate SAS for keeping their standards high and continuing to produce great sandals!
Amazed how easy it was to return the wrong size & get the shoes that fit me. They even paid for shipping & were very friendly. SAS shoes are the best.
The wide toe box is perfect and the thick comfy soles are wonderful. They don’t look like “old lady shoes”, and I really like the look. Yes they are expensive but worth every penny!
