SAS Quality

History

Started in 1976 with just 13 shoemakers in San Antonio, Texas. Today SAS Shoes are available across the globe.

While Our numbers have grown, our mission has not. Our customer’s comfort comes first, and together we make that comfort possible.

Handcrafted Quality

Just one pair of shoes may go through 100 different steps before completion. No corners are cut when manufacturing SAS Shoes.

Approximately 80 different skilled pairs of hands touch each shoe to make sure the SAS shoes you choose are the best made pair of footwear in your closet.

Continued Heritage

SAS Shoes are still manufactured in Texas, just as they were 40+ years ago. Our shoes are handcrafted from only the softest, highest quality leather.

There are 14 primary operations that take place in the Texas factories like leather selection, die-making, cutting, lasting and more. Each pair is made from the finest global materials available.

Me Too

Love SAS! Made in America, they are consistently sized correctly and accommodate my orthotics so comfortably! I have both Free Time and Me Too. I do have to double knot the shoelaces on Free Time to keep them ties. Would like to see them them through the shoes rather than through the rings, as they easily slip through the rings to come untied when walking.
