There are 14 primary operations that take place in the Texas factories like leather selection, die-making, cutting, lasting and more. Each pair is made from the finest global materials available.

years of wearing SAS shoes, I knew my new pair would be great; THEY ARE!!
Many years ago, people with narrow feet could go to a shoe store and walk out with shoes that fit. It has been a long time since I could even find shoes to fit me. Things I like about these shoes: Stylish and in different colors; laces are sized to the narrow shoe and not way too long like others I have had; comfortable; and they accommodate my old-age deformities. I had help from this company to assist me in finding the right style for me. I realize they are pretty pricey, but that "Made in the USA" appeals to me too.
I've worn SAS shoes since 1993. I usually buy the Free Time Walkers and they've always been so comfortable from the first moment I put them on. When SAS came out with the athletic shoes, I ordered a pair of Tour Mesh shoes, same size, same wonderful fit. So I ordered another pair of Tour Mesh in another color, but this pair rubs on the outside of my right foot. I had to return this pair. I'm awaiting a replacement pair which I hope and expect will fit comfortably, the way they always have. I hope to be able to say that this was the only negative experience I've had with SAS in 31 years. They're being great about the exchange.
